Role Overview
The Lead Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Azure. This role requires strategic planning, execution of cloud projects, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design cloud-based architectures aligned with business needs and objectives.
- Define cloud strategies and roadmaps to drive digital transformation.
- Plan and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
- Optimize cloud environments for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to define best practices for cloud adoption.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- +8 years of experience in similar roles.
- Extensive expertise with Azure cloud services.
- Strong experience with networking, security, and cloud governance.
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in cloud cost optimization and resource management.
- Proven ability to lead cloud transformation projects.
