ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Technical Sourcer, you’ll be responsible for finding and engaging world-class engineers who will define the next era of cross-chain infrastructure. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and recruiters to build strategic pipelines that help LayerZero scale globally.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to deeply understand technical requirements and role priorities.
- Identify, engage, and qualify technical talent through creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, X, Discord, Stack Overflow, events, referrals).
- Conduct initial technical and culture-aligned screens to assess candidate fit.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles while ensuring exceptional candidate experience.
- Track progress in Greenhouse and maintain accurate candidate data.
- Share market insights and sourcing analytics to inform recruiting strategy.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously experiment with new sourcing tools and tactics.
ABOUT YOU
- 3+ years of experience in agency or startup recruiting, with a focus on technical roles.
- Deep understanding of software engineering, infrastructure, and crypto/web3 talent landscapes.
- Proven ability to identify and engage passive talent using diverse sourcing techniques.
- Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and sourcing automation platforms.
- Strong communicator who builds trust with candidates and hiring teams alike.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable owning outcomes independently while collaborating closely with the broader recruiting team.
- Experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS preferred.
- Must be based in (or willing to relocate to) Vancouver, BC, and work in-office 5 days per week.
