We are a collaborative group of landscape architects, civil engineers, planners, and urban designers that approach projects with unique expertise and diverse perspectives, but with a shared goal to create places that matter.

Your internship search ends with us. LandDesign is currently searching for a summer (2027) Civil Engineering intern to join us in our Charlotte office. As an intern, you will support civil engineers with a broad range of project assignments.

Ideals:

  • Rising junior pursuing a Civil Engineering degree or comparable degree from an accredited university
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic understanding of grading, drainage, water + sewer design
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Willingness to learn about land development

All summer internship opportunities are paid, 40 hour per week positions. Anticipated start date is end of May, 2027 and runs through early August, 2027.  Candidates who are interested in extended internships or co-ops should indicate their desired timeframe in their cover letter or resume.
