Please Note: Regular travel across designated territory will be required. MUST have prior dental specialty experience (Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Periodontics, etc.)

THE POSITION

The Director of Operations is an executive position responsible for overseeing the operations of an organization. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. This position works closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to ensure efficient and effective operations across multiple specialty practices within the DSO. This role will involve establishing and maintaining operational standards, optimizing workflow processes, and driving operational excellence. You will also be responsible for promoting a culture of high-quality patient care, team collaboration, and continuous improvement. The specific requirements and responsibilities may vary depending on needs and organizational scaling. 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • MUST HAVE 5 years experience in multi-site dental management including evening and weekend availability as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Prior P&L management experience
  • Regular travel within the region and occasional trips to flagship headquarters location (New Hyde Park, NY)
  • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and success driven.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategies that align with the company's overarching goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with the executive team to shape and implement the company's long-term vision within the region.
  • Guide local teams, identify training needs, and provide necessary training to enhance performance.
  • Ensure smooth, efficient daily operations by optimizing staff and resource availability.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline and improve processes.
  • Use data and metrics to monitor and assess operational performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, offering guidance, coaching, and mentorship to managers and staff.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the operations team.

New York Salary Range: $90,000/year - $130,000/year
