The Role 

Information Technology serves as LeafLink's backbone, seamlessly connecting our departments and organizations. We are seeking an Associate IT Manager to drive service excellence as we enhance automation, deploy new technologies, and manage critical tools, systems, and devices across the company.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Information Security, People, and Legal teams to oversee the IT helpdesk, ensuring efficient resolution of support tickets and maintaining our SOC 2 compliance through streamlined employee onboarding, offboarding, and device management.

This hybrid role requires at least one in-office day per week to support conference rooms, server/storage areas, and equipment logistics, including shipping and receiving.

What You’ll Be Doing

IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Assist in developing and executing LeafLink’s IT strategy, providing quarterly roadmaps and team planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure IT systems, including onboarding and offboarding, are scalable and aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee a small but active IT support helpdesk, ensuring SLAs and ticket resolution times are met and reported bi-weekly.
  • Advocate for agile methodologies, leading sprint planning and retrospectives on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Manage physical office IT infrastructure, including inventory, conference room equipment, and AV systems.
  • Support corporate initiatives such as vendor management, mergers & acquisitions (M&As), and strategic partnerships.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and career growth.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex IT support issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contribute to team projects, providing leadership, technical expertise, and support to colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances individual and team performance.

Security & Compliance

  • Partner with the Information Security team to uphold best practices and maintain security at the core of all IT operations.
  • Play a key role in compliance enforcement across frameworks such as SOC 2 and PCI, ensuring LeafLink meets regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and automation techniques to continuously improve IT services, using an entrepreneurial approach to deliver excellence.
  • Participate in quarterly Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity (DRBC) planning and exercises.

Budgets & Vendor Management

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and eliminate inefficiencies within IT operations.
  • Evaluate, consolidate, and sunset tools or vendors to optimize spending.
  • Conduct license audits to ensure tools are properly utilized, especially before renewals.
  • Work closely with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams on vendor approvals and renewals.
  • Implement automation solutions to reduce manual tasks and drive operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 1-3+ years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in a management role coaching and developing team members.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, network security, and IT best practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional IT projects with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA and stakeholder reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with OKTA and/or Google Workspace is required.
  • Knowledge of OKTA workflows and RESTful APIs is a strong plus.
  • Experience with asset management and MDM (Mobile Device Management) technologies is highly desirable.
  • Some experience in financial services is preferred; experience in a scaling technology company is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who is eager to drive innovation and automation is highly desirable

Base salary range

$90,000 - $100,000 USD
