Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Total Rewards Analyst to join our dynamic People & Culture team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of compensation and benefits practices across North America, coupled with the ability to research and analyze compensation trends in various global markets. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our total rewards programs remain competitive and aligned with our business objectives while attracting and retaining top talent across our diverse workforce.
Unique Aspect: This position offers a unique opportunity for cross-functional collaboration, as the successful candidate will spend approximately 30% of their time working with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This collaboration will involve analyzing the financial impact of total rewards programs, forecasting compensation budgets, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Duties:
Compensation Analysis & Design:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to assess compensation trends and best practices across North America and other global markets
- Design and administer competitive base salary structures, variable pay programs, and incentive plans
- Research, prepare and evaluate occupational classifications and job descriptions to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
- Participate in annual salary surveys and analyze market data to benchmark our compensation programs
- Model and analyze the financial impact of proposed compensation changes
- Administer the bi-annual merit and promotion cycle
FP&A Collaboration:
- Work closely with the FP&A team to analyze the financial impact of total rewards programs
- Develop and maintain compensation budgets, forecasts, and accruals
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making related to total rewards (bonuses, commissions, other People Programs)
Communication & Employee Support:
- Develop and deliver effective communication materials to educate employees about our total rewards programs
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits
- Partner with HR Business Partners to address total rewards-related issues and concerns
People Operations:
- Work with our Employer of Record (EOR) provider, Deel, and customize their employee experience to be as similar as a full-time employee
- Own our performance management system, Lattice, and is responsible for setting up performance cycles, engagement surveys, onboarding surveys, skills matrices, and other ad hoc projects
- Conduct analysis on all our People Team OKRs which include calculating turnover, the pay equity gap, and more
- Analyze all the quantitative and qualitative analysis from our engagement surveys, including cutting the data based on diversity attributes, remote vs headquartered employees, tenure, etc.
Security-Related Responsibilities
- Compliance with Information Security Policies
- Responsibility and accountability for executing League’s policies and procedures
- Notification of HR, Legal, Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
Authorities
- Review changes to team compensation
- Approve changes to tool & data access for employees
- All Authorities are limited to the extent set out in the Authorization Policy
- Manage programs and maintain human resources information and related records systems as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis, ideally in a global organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
- Knowledge with a Performance Management system (Lattice preferred)
- Ability to use an HRIS (Bamboo preferred) to download reports for analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations in North America and other global markets
- Experience working with employer of record (EOR) arrangements is an asset (Deel preferred)
- Experience working extensively with an FP&A team is a must
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred to communicate with EORs
