Offshore Investor Relations Assistant
Legalist is looking for a detail-oriented, adaptable, and highly communicative Offshore Investor Relations Assistant to support our Investor Relations team and company leadership.
The ideal candidate is organized, fluent in written and spoken English, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment. You should be able to follow instructions carefully while also using good judgment, taking initiative, and thinking through tasks that may not always have a clearly defined process.
This role will involve a combination of CRM management, investor-related administrative support, scheduling, email communication, and other ad-hoc requests from an executive or Investor Relations lead.
Responsibilities

Organize, maintain, and update the company’s Investor Relations CRM

Enter, review, validate, and clean investor and contact information

Ensure investor records, activities, notes, and follow-up items remain accurate and up to date

Follow requests and instructions from an executive or Investor Relations lead

Draft and send professional emails and other communications
-
Schedule meetings and send calendar invitations, reminders, and follow-ups
-
Track outstanding requests, deadlines, and action items
-
Assist with meeting preparation and maintain organized records
-
Conduct basic research and data validation when needed

Support Investor Relations projects, events, and internal coordination

Complete administrative and other ad-hoc tasks related to Investor Relations

Proactively identify missing information, potential issues, and opportunities to improve organization and efficiency

Communicate progress, questions, and potential blockers clearly and promptly
Required Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally

Strong initiative and the ability to think independently

Adaptability and willingness to take on different types of assignments

Ability to follow detailed instructions and manage multiple requests

Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and CRM systems

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Willingness to ask thoughtful questions when clarification is needed

Discretion when handling confidential company and investor information

Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote-work setup

Availability during the company’s agreed Pacific Time working hours
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous experience as an Investor Relations Assistant, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or Operations Assistant

Experience organizing or maintaining a CRM

Experience drafting professional emails and coordinating calendars

Research and data-validation experience

Experience working in a startup, financial services company, investment firm, or capital group

Familiarity with investor communications, fundraising, or stakeholder management
-
Experience supporting executives or senior leadership
Compensation and Benefits
