Senior Reporting Analyst

Legatis a subsidiary of Obra Capital Inc. runs on data: claims metrics, financial results, and portfolio analytics that drive board, investor, and sponsor decisions. We are hiring an Associate, Reporting Analytics to own the production of that reporting turning prepared data into clean, reliable, repeatable exhibits and dashboards.

You will work directly with our Chief Actuary, Controller, and Claims leadership, who own what the numbers mean. The underlying data pipelines and semantic models are maintained by our data-engineering resource. Your job is the reporting and validation layer in between: making sure every exhibit is accurate, on time, and formatted to a professional standard. This is a core production role, not an add-on — it should represent a substantial portion of your day.

Responsibilities 

• Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages — claims, financial, and board exhibits — end to end
• Build, maintain, and refresh Power BI dashboards
• Validate and reconcile data: confirm every exhibit ties to source and flag discrepancies clearly
• Format board and sponsor decks to a professional standard
• Automate recurring reports using Power Query, Power BI, and Excel

Requirements

• 4–7 years in a reporting, analyst, or FP&A role
• Expert Excel: Power Query, complex formulas, structured model-building
• Functional Power BI
• BS. in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Math, or Statistics
• Insurance or financial-services domain knowledge
• Experience with insurance billing, claim data reconciliation, or claims coordination

Compensation
