Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.


Legend Biotech is seeking Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist (Contractor) as part of the Human Resources team based in Somerset, NJ. 

Role Overview

*This is a contract position with an initial 12-month duration. Extension or potential conversion to a permanent role may be considered based on business needs.

Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to meet the organization's hiring needs. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines, and leveraging various channels to identify passive candidates. The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Lead will collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to understand talent requirements and proactively source candidates who align with the organization's culture and values.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Manage full talent lifecycle within the Legend Biotech ecosystem to nurture and engage the talent community. 
  • Develop and execute talent sourcing strategies and build a pipeline of talent to meet current or anticipated talent needs, ensuring a proactive approach to workforce planning.
  • Develop innovative attraction and engagement strategies that align with the company’s long-term talent needs and employer branding initiatives.
  • Utilize market intelligence to proactively identify and engage passive candidates for strategic positions.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of the talent market, including industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging talent pools. Utilize various data sources and tools to gather insights on market dynamics, talent availability, and competitive intelligence.
  • Analyze talent supply and demand trends to forecast future hiring needs and talent shortages. Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders on talent acquisition strategies, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and contribute to projects related to the TA processes, systems/tools, procedures, and compliance, with a focus on driving operational efficiencies and enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Participate and assist with branding initiative and university recruiting efforts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Human Resources
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in Biotech/Pharma is required.
  • Experience recruiting within one or more in any of the following areas is preferred: Research & Development (Strongly preferred), Clinical Development, Early Drug Development, Quality, Technical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Medical Affairs
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes, advanced sourcing techniques, and talent market trends.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions, identify trends, and improve recruitment processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and contribute to complex projects and initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferably Greenhouse or Workday and familiarity with recruitment marketing tools are preferred. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
