Overview
We seek a Product Marketing Manager to join our team and help position Legion’s industry-leading AI-driven WFM platform and technology. The successful candidate will develop and execute product marketing strategies and build content highlighting Legion’s innovations, strategic position, differentiators, and value derived from our AI-driven technology You will also position the value and extensibility of the Legion Platform. You will become the go-to product marketing expert on Legion AI and supporting technology to ensure we tell a clear and consistent story across all our marketing and sales channels.
The ideal candidate is passionate about AI, and has a keen ability to translate technical concepts into value for stakeholders. Strong writing skills are required.
Key Deliverables and Outcomes
Increase Product Voice in the Market
- Amplify our voice in the market about our platform and technology, including how AI is applied to workforce management and the concrete business outcomes Legion’s platform delivers.
- Communicate Legion’s product vision, technical details, positioning, and messaging to internal and external stakeholders across all departments and organizational layers, including C-suite executives.
- Tell our product story through polished presentations and demonstrations to industry analysts, customers, prospects, and internal audiences.
- Develop and deliver persona based messaging, regular blog content, compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to highlight our use of AI in the platform.
- Lead our response and content development efforts to submit Legion’s platform and technology for awards and recognition.
- Partner with the demand generation team to develop campaigns that promote Legion’s differentiated capabilities.
Influence Market Perception:
- Engage with industry influencers, analysts, and thought leaders to raise awareness and credibility of our platform, AI capabilities, and software.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the competitive landscape to understand competitors' offerings, positioning, and market share to help inform product differentiation and messaging strategies.
Content Development
- Develop a content strategy and compelling thought leadership content, including blogs, whitepapers, articles, presentations, and collateral targeting key personas.
- Collect customer proof points and examples of benefits and ROI realized from Legion’s platform and AI capabilities. Develop compelling customer stories and value nuggets to provide proof points and examples of the value realized.
Support Product Launches
- Product Launches - Align with the Platform Product Management team to drive product positioning for existing products and new launches.
- Support product launches with content and messaging to position new features and capabilities in a way that helps gain customer adoption.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Enablement
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with product management, engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to align on strategies, priorities, and initiatives.
- Partner with Enablement to uplevel our customer-facing teams to provide knowledge and instill confidence in Legion’s fast-moving technical capabilities.
- Pricing and Packaging: Collaborating with product management and finance teams to develop pricing strategies, packaging options, and pricing models that maximize revenue and align with customer expectations.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in workforce management or employee value software solutions
- Robust understanding of artificial intelligence and related technologies
- A strong ability to translate complicated technical concepts into messages that resonate with operational leaders and data scientists.
- Deep understanding of platform technology, market trends related to AI and machine learning with a firm grasp of ways to develop strategic product marketing messaging and campaigns.
- Ability to be part of and lead cross-functional teams to meet goals and objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with positioning technical platforms, preferably with AI-driven software solutions
- Experience building public-facing presentations with close attention to detail for marketing events, sales organizations, or executive presentations.
- A high level of curiosity, a desire to learn, the ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.

As a fully remote employer, Legion determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth.
