Job Description

Leland Saylor Associates is a nationally recognized construction consulting firm providing expertise in the areas of construction management, cost management, project controls and value management. Our project portfolio includes aviation, critical infrastructure, education, healthcare, public works, and transit.

We are seeking a dynamic Project Quantity Surveyor to be part of some of the most prestigious and landmark projects in the Western U.S.

 

Daily Duties

  • Providing specialized Preconstruction and Post-Contract support with experience in mid-to-large-scale public agency civil structures and transit infrastructure projects.
  • Contribute a strong adherence to established internal and client-driven quality control procedures, with the ability to support a team in the delivery of post-contract cost management and consultancy services.
  • Supporting senior team members in the measurement and assessment of variations, preparation of payment certificates, final account preparation, as well as cost reporting and analysis.
  • Assisting in benchmarking, data collection from internal team members and client stakeholders, and preparation of internal reports.
  • Generally, support the development of various cost estimating deliverables throughout the construction lifecycle, from high-level planning and conceptual design to the final design and construction phases.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or a related construction field.
  • Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS)or actively working towards APC , CCP or CPE certification.
  • Possess strong skills in cost analysis, change order evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Must have a work visa or US citizenship. Possible H1 sponsorship.
  • Software proficiency in OST or Bluebeam required, Power BI and HCSS are value adds.

 

Minimum Experience

  • 4–5 years of post-graduate professional experience.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in the US or EU.
