We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Director to join our team and take charge of driving sales and managing key client relationships.

Job Overview:

As an Account Director, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by selling our video production services to marketing and creative agencies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with existing clients. Your primary goal will be to increase sales and achieve revenue targets while ensuring client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target marketing and creative agencies as potential clients.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, proposals, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through CRM software.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build strong and trusting relationships with key decision-makers at marketing and creative agencies.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, needs, and challenges to effectively position our video production services.
  • Conduct in-depth client needs analysis and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, address any issues promptly, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure smooth project execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to client expectations.
  • Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient workflow and effective utilization of company resources.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, managing expectations and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
  • Market Intelligence and Industry Knowledge:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production and marketing.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand networks and stay abreast of industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably selling video production services to marketing and creative agencies.
  • Strong understanding of the video production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
