Part-Time Recruiter / Talent Sourcer

Remote

Why LeoLabs?

At LeoLabs, we're building the living map of activity in space. Through our proprietary global radar network and AI-enabled analytics platform, we collect millions of measurements daily on more than 25,000 objects in low Earth orbit (LEO). Our radar-powered intelligence protects billions in assets, monitors adversarial behavior, and ensures safe operations for commercial and government missions.

We're not just building technology, we are redefining global security, safety, and transparency in space. As orbital activity accelerates and threats grow more complex, LeoLabs is a trusted partner for Space Domain Awareness, Space Traffic Management, and Satellite Operations for top-tier space operators and allied defense organizations.

If you're looking to work on mission-critical challenges at the forefront of aerospace, national security, and AI, your impact starts here. We're looking for a relationship-driven, proactive Part-Time Recruiter / Talent Sourcer to help build and strengthen our talent pipelines.

This role goes beyond filling open positions. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to understand their teams, business priorities, and talent needs, while proactively identifying and engaging exceptional talent for current and future opportunities.

You'll play an important role in developing a forward-looking recruiting strategy, building meaningful candidate relationships, and ensuring our recruiters and hiring teams have access to strong talent when opportunities arise.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain qualified talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs
  • Proactively source, identify, and engage talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, and other creative channels
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and gain a deep understanding of their teams, roles, technical requirements, and business priorities
  • Partner with hiring managers to translate talent needs into effective sourcing strategies
  • Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify relevant talent pools and competitive insights
  • Build relationships with prospective candidates and maintain engagement beyond immediate openings
  • Partner with recruiters to deliver qualified, well-aligned candidates for active searches
  • Maintain accurate candidate information, sourcing activity, and pipeline data in our ATS
  • Share regular updates on pipeline health, market insights, and sourcing progress

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of recruiting or talent sourcing experience
  • Demonstrated success building proactive talent pipelines, particularly for specialized or hard-to-fill roles
  • Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to quickly understand technical roles, team structures, and hiring priorities
  • Strong relationship-building and hiring manager partnership skills
  • Excellent communication and candidate engagement abilities
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • A curious, resourceful, and collaborative approach to recruiting

What Makes You Successful

You're someone who enjoys connecting people, understanding businesses, and finding talent others might overlook. You don't just source against a job description; you take the time to understand the teams you're supporting and become a trusted partner to the hiring managers and recruiters you work with.

You're proactive, thoughtful, and relationship-oriented, with a passion for building talent pipelines that create a lasting impact.

This is a part-time opportunity with the ability to make a meaningful contribution to our growing Talent Acquisition team.
