Summary

As a Sales Manager at LettrLabs, you will be responsible for developing, coaching, and scaling our Mid-Market and Enterprise Account Executive team. This role exists to raise the performance ceiling of the current sales org while building a repeatable talent development engine that supports future growth across BDR, Mid-Market, and Enterprise roles. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people development, deal execution, and sales process rigor.

This role is ideal for a proven sales leader who has managed quota-carrying AEs, thrives in complex deal environments, and is motivated by building elite sales talent.

Responsibilities

Sales Team Leadership & Development

  1. Directly manage and coach Mid-Market and Enterprise Account Executives to consistently operate at a high performance level.

  2. Run regular 1:1s, deal reviews, pipeline inspections, and skill-based coaching sessions.

  3. Identify individual strengths and gaps; create structured development plans for each AE.

  4. Build a clear internal progression path from BDR → Mid-Market AE → Enterprise AE → Sales Leadership.

Deal Support & Execution

  1. Support AEs through complex deal cycles, from discovery through close and early expansion.

  2. Provide hands-on guidance for deal strategy, qualification, stakeholder mapping, and pricing.

  3. Improve win rates and reduce time-to-close through disciplined deal inspection and feedback.

Sales Methodology & Process

  1. Own and continuously refine LettrLabs’ sales methodology, including land-and-expand motion.

  2. Ensure consistent execution of discovery, qualification, and expansion frameworks across the team.

  3. Partner with the VP of Sales to improve forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  1. Work closely with Marketing to identify funnel breakdowns and improve lead quality, messaging, and conversion.

  2. Partner with Customer Success and Account Management to ensure smooth handoffs and early expansion alignment.

  3. Act as a connective layer between strategy and execution across revenue functions.

Hiring & Talent Pipeline

  1. Identify, interview, and help hire high-quality AE talent as the team grows.

  2. Develop earlier-career sellers into top-performing AEs through structured coaching and enablement.

  3. Maintain a continuous pipeline of sales talent aligned with LettrLabs’ growth plans.

Field Leadership

  1. Travel with the sales team as needed to support strategic in-person meetings, enterprise opportunities, and trade shows.

  2. Provide real-time coaching and leadership presence in high-stakes selling environments.

Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of experience managing quota-carrying sales teams (Mid-Market and/or Enterprise).

  2. Prior experience as a high-performing Account Executive in complex, full-cycle sales environments.

  3. Proven ability to coach and develop sales talent, including earlier-career sellers.

  4. Strong understanding of land-and-expand sales motions and multi-stakeholder deal cycles.

  5. Experience improving win rates, deal velocity, and pipeline quality through process and coaching.

  6. Proficiency with HubSpot, Gong, and Clay.

  7. Strong leadership presence with the ability to balance accountability and development.

  8. Willingness to travel to support reps, customers, and trade events as needed.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
