Senior Publisher Development Manager

Levanta is the leading affiliate marketing platform for marketplace sellers, helping Amazon and Walmart brands unlock a scalable, cost-effective marketing channel through direct affiliate partnerships. With access to over 30,000 vetted publishers, influencers, affiliates, and media buyers in Levanta’s Creator Marketplace, sellers can drive high-quality external traffic to their stores, control commissions, improve organic search rankings, and benefit from referral kickbacks on sales generated by their affiliates.

Levanta is seeking an experienced Senior Publisher Development Manager to lead our expansion into marketplace partnerships. This role will focus on building and scaling strategic relationships with sub-networks, creator commerce platforms, comparison shopping sites, and high-value content publishers that drive significant GMV for D2C brands. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and optimizing partnerships that provide access to thousands of publishers at scale, while also managing technical implementations including API integrations, tracking setup, and performance optimization. This is a strategic role that combines business development expertise with technical execution capabilities, requiring deep knowledge of the affiliate marketing ecosystem, and hands-on experience with attribution technology. 

What You'll Do:

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with sub-networks that provide automated access to merchant programs
  • Build partnerships with creator commerce platforms that aggregate creator audiences
  • Develop relationships with high-value comparison shopping sites and major content publishers
  • Create comprehensive target list of priority partnerships and develop tailored outreach strategies for each segment 
  • Negotiate partnership terms and service agreements that align with Levanta’s business objectives

Partnership Optimization and Growth

  • Analyze performance of existing partnerships (including underperforming relationships) and develop strategies to increase engagement and GMV
  • Work with partners to identify growth opportunities, optimize product feeds, and improve conversion rates
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and identify new partnership opportunities in the D2C affiliate space
  • Spearhead expansion into D2C and non-Amazon marketplaces

Technical Implementation & Integration

  • Lead technical integrations including API integrations
  • Work with Levanta’s technical team on complex integrations while handling routine technical setups independently
  • Ensure accurate tracking and attribution across all partnership channels 
  • Develop technical documentation and implementation guides for partners 

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze partnership performance metrics including GMV, conversion rates, and ROI
  • Provide regular reporting on partnership pipeline, activation status, and revenue contribution
  • Identify trends and insights that inform partnership strategy and resource allocation
  • Develop dashboards and reporting systems to monitor partner health and performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with product team to communicate partner needs and influence platform roadmap
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop co-marketing opportunities with strategic partners
  • Work alongside other Publisher Development team members to ensure consistent messaging and avoid territory overlap
  • Coordinate with Customer Success team to ensure smooth partner experience

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership development, or business development
  • Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships in the affiliate or ad tech space
  • Direct experience working with sub-networks, comparison shopping sites, or creator commerce platforms required
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations
  • Strong understanding of affiliate attribution models and tracking technology
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting technical integrations with minimal support
  • Familiarity with affiliate platform technologies (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, or similar)
  • Comfortable reading technical documentation and working with developer tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • Strong negotiation skills with experience structuring partnership agreements

  • Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution capabilities

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing enterprise-level partnerships and executive relationships
  • Comfortable presenting partnership strategies to senior leadership

**The base salary range for this position is $100,000 annual USD**
