Structured Finance Associate

Role Purpose:
The Finance Associate will support the finance team in delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, maintaining financial integrity, and providing insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with management reporting and variance analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and report variances.

Accounts & Reconciliation:
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits.

Analysis & Insights:
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) – part-qualified or qualified preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (ERP experience desirable).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience:
- 2–4 years in a finance or accounting role, preferably within [industry].
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
