Description

Lexington’s two-week internship with the Co-Investment (CIP) team offers a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to private equity and the secondaries market. Working alongside the Secondaries and Investor Relations teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience evaluating live transactions, building financial models, and sharpening your investment acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating leveraged buyout transactions across multiple industries
  • Building and modifying financial models to project valuations and expected returns
  • Compiling and analyzing industry and company research
  • Collaborate on a summer project compiling an investment memo on a potential investment opportunity

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical / valuation skills
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently
  • Strong work ethic and proactive, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm for expanding knowledge
  • Ability to support projects with tight deadlines
  • High ethical and professional standards
