The Opportunity:

As the Associate Product Manager - HVAC Heating Products, you will work with our Regional Sales Managers to develop and implement marketing plans to grow the business and build brand loyalty. The focus of this role will be to develop and manage new build or renovation projects from the planning and budgeting phase through confirmation or order placed. You will focus on portfolio strategy, product road map, new product introduction, pricing, and overall product lifecycle management. 

Project Management:

  • Utilize project management principles and methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and control projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and with external stakeholders. (Across the US and Korea)
  • Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, anticipating and addressing potential issues to keep the project on track.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders at various levels.

Product Management:

  • Take charge of product road mapping and oversee the launch and end-of-life processes for new products.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify business opportunities and develop effective strategies.
  • Control product pricing to optimize profitability.
  • Conduct market research to identify customers and potential competitive advantages.
  • Plan sales target depending on market demand and performed financial analysis for sales profit.

Product Strategy:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision internally, aligning stakeholders around the strategic direction.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Monitor the entire logistics process, from receiving to delivery, to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with demand planners to update future project pipelines, plan on-hand stock, and identify potential risks such as lead time issues or shortages.
  • Determine the needed quantity of parts and set up the safety stock considering expected demand.

Strategic Planning:

  • Execute sales and marketing activities to drive revenue growth and achieve profit targets.
  • Develop and implement sales support programs and promotional pricing to enhance revenue generation.
  • Analyze vertical market growth and trends to forecast product demand, minimize long-term inventory, and ensure optimal product combinations.
  • Enhanced product development by conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis.
  • Communicated with the sales team by providing market trends for insight and technical guidance on product features and capabilities. 

Product Planning and Execution:

  • Provide input into product pricing and positioning strategies to maximize market competitiveness and profitability.
  • Translate product strategies into detailed requirements and prototypes, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on their potential impact on the business and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration and Execution:
     - Work closely with engineering teams to drive efficient and timely product development, ensuring quick time-to-market.
     - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, executives, and other product management team members, to effectively coordinate product launches.
     - Participate in product launches, working closely with marketing/public relations, executives, and other product management team members.

Qualifications: 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 years + experience is required.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in market research, strategic planning, and business analysis.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Bilingual (English / Korean)
