LG Electronics is looking for a talented and imaginative Contract Creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, detail-oriented designer with a strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual experiences. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop innovative designs for a variety of printed literature and digital materials, ensuring the LG brand's identity is effectively communicated.

This position is on-site 5 days a week in our Alpharetta, Georgia location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Creation: Produce creative, high-quality designs for a collection of printed and digital literature. Additional projects will include designs for a variety of mediums including websites, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, packaging, and more.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms and materials.
  • Concept Development: Work with the team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that meet the project goals and brand objectives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with product marketing, writers, marketers, photographers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and visually striking materials.
  • Layout and Typography: Expertly use typography, color theory, and layout principles to create visually balanced designs. Must be able to prepare files for print vendors and know layout for various page counts.
  • Feedback and Revisions: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions to designs as necessary to ensure final approval.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain design files, ensuring proper documentation for future use or modification.

Position Requirements:

  • 4+ years of creative experience, especially in omni channel, B2B and B2C industry.
  • College degree; BA or BFA preferred in Graphic Design or advertising.
  • Understanding of design, typography, layout principles, and production process.
  • Fluent understanding of current digital trends and social landscape.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and video Editing platforms.
  • Solid organizational skills and detail-oriented. Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently in a very fast paced environment, ensuring that quality deliverables are achieved on time.
  • Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines. Enjoys working with others and collaborating with positive attitude.
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • The drive to excel and succeed; self-motivated, managing projects effectively.
  • Travel 10%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a creative agency, freelance or corporate setting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
    • Experience with web design tools and platforms (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Marcom Central) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Creative Abilities:
    • Strong visual and conceptual skills.
    • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve design challenges.
    • Attention to detail and precision in design execution.

  • Communication:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting design concepts and collaborating with team members.
    • Ability to accept constructive feedback and use it to improve design work.

  • Portfolio:
    A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects across printed brochures, flyers and digital mediums.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and design principles.
  • Understanding of branding and identity design.
  • Experience in social media design and digital marketing content is a plus.
  • Experience in UI/UX design or web development is a plus.

Recruiting Range

$60,000 - $70,000 USD
