The Opportunity:

The Installation Team Leader of DirectView LED (DVLED) Installation and Integration is responsible for leading a team of professional services, encompassing interior construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. This position requires a strong expertise in Digital Signage and AV systems, along with proven leadership skills to guide the success of the DVLED Installation and Integration team through strategic planning, team management, and continuous process improvement. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both the LG Sales and Service teams to ensure that all projects are executed on schedule, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and field engineers/technicians.
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies, goals, and KPIs aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the DVLED Installation and Integration team.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

Project Oversight:

  • Supervise interior construction, LED installation, and AV system integration to ensure client requirements and industry standards are met.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations:
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, offer expert advice, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team, including Solutions Enablement and PMO teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and securing necessary resources.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in AV systems integration.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system designs, as-built drawings, and operational manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the quality of systems integration projects.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the DVLED Installation and Integration team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training, development, and process enhancements.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the DVLED Installation and Integration team’s budget, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Analyze project financials to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered within budget and contribute to company profitability.

Qualifications / Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in audio-visual systems integration, with a focus on digital signage preferred, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience managing teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of AV systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in managing interior construction projects (GC license is a plus).
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of handling large-scale AV integration projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in AV-related software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and AV control systems.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
  • CTS-D (Design) and/or CTS-I (Installation).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • ITIL Certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
