We are currently seeking a Senior Paint Technician to join our new and dynamic team in Clarksville, TN as part of the Manufacturing and Production Team!
Primary role is to train employees on paint/print equipment and paint robotics in an advisor/coaching role. Assist with maintaining schedules, evaluating parts based on quality standards and customer specifications, while assisting paint operators as needed in the production automation line. Assist with the setup and breakdown procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training Paint/Print Operators on equipment and paint management processes
- Assists Paint Operators in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct
- Identify training and development needs through regular conversation and observation
- Assists management with reviewing Paint/Print Operator performance
- Assists in the development and update of Paint/Print training manuals
- Responsible for visual inspection of production for defects based on Standard
- Monitor product for any quality issues
- Achieve established daily performance target
- Operate the Paint/Print lines, and make necessary changes to ensure product specifications are met
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on press and auxiliary equipment
- Get the proper material to the required press in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements:
High School degree and minimum 5 + years Paint/Print Operation experience. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is strongly preferred. Experience in industrial robotic system and teaching program, mentoring and/or coaching Paint/Print Operators, work with complex automated facility paint management and equipment system integrated production and knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
