As the Accountant II you will:

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for daily asset related management and reporting for internal / external purpose on Cash management (Cash inflow/outflow), fixed assets  
- Provides entry-level day-to-day accounting services that include preparation and processing of transactions and financial statements.
- Communicate with each department to reflect accurate accrual expenses.
- Monitors and provides administrative support in one or more accounting functions depending on the Business Unit: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, Fixed Assets, Lease Assets, Cash Flow management, Bank reconciliation with cash application & cash payments etc. and generates reporting accordingly for internal/and external use. 
- Where applicable, reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations.
- Reconciles books and assists with the preparation of one or more of the following:  fixed asset expenditures, registration and modification, physical fixed asset counting, profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monthly reporting of revenues and expenditures for projects.
- Ensures accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS and other accounting regulations. Monthly cash collection and payment forecasting for cash management reporting.
- Auditing Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
- May perform daily bank reconciliation and monthly bank closing.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

- Prepare and fulfill Internal Control Assessment Test for K-SOX and external Audit of financial statements
- Prepare documentation of work process and provide training materials of accounting internal procedures to other team colleagues
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Reporting for internal/external in both Korean and English language is necessary for HQ Reports/NA NJ Regional office as well as internal reports.
- Communication, data analysis, reporting on PowerPoint/excel are necessary skills.
- Financial data analysis of General Ledger, Income statements, Balance sheets 
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

 - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related majors in an accounting, finance or economics/Statistics, and various business management
- 3+ years of relevant experience and knowledge in accounting & finance 
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to work early/late hours as required to communicate with HQ offices in Korea and to complete Global Financial Closing on time
-Preferred: CPA certification or candidates who have passed the CPA exam but are not yet licensed.

Preferred:

- Experience with multinational corporations and regional/national audit firm
- Understand intermediate accounting principles and cash flow management
- Bilingual in both English and Korean language
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Exercise attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Possess effective, professional interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). 
-  Abilities to move or carry objects or merchandises during the inventory counting or any job required objects movement needed.

- Able to working late at least 5 days of month
- Capability of multi tasks and make a decision to meet various due dates by priority and urgency 
- Capability of understanding and utilizing of various systems 


Travel requirements:  

Not extensive business travel required; however, occasional travel may require for training purposes at NJ or HQ
