
Senior EPS Mold Technician

We are currently seeking a Senior EPS Mold Technician to join our new and dynamic team in Clarksville, TN as part of the Manufacturing and Production Team!
This position starts at $68,400 annually.
The schedule will be Monday thru Friday, 5pm-3:30am.
As the Senior EPS Technician's primary role, you will train employees on presses/equipment in an advisor/coaching role. In addition, you will also assist with maintaining EPS schedules, evaluating parts based on quality standards and customer specifications, assist press operators as needed, and assist with the setup and breakdown procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training EPS Operators on equipment and processes.
- Assists EPS Operators in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct.
- Identify training and development needs through regular conversation and observation.
- Assists Manager with reviewing EPS Operator performance.
- Assists in the development and update of EPS training manuals.
- Responsible for visual inspection of production for defects based on Standard.
- Monitor product for any quality issues.
- Achieve established daily performance target.
- Operate machinery and make necessary changes to ensure product specifications are met.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Get the proper material to the required machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- May be required to assist Operators, EPS Technicians and/or Maintenance Technicians in keeping machines running.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a EPS technician working on EPS equipment.
- Experience in mentoring and/or coaching Press Operators.
- Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
- Ability to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
- Some occasional international travel required.
