The Opportunity:

As the Director E-commerce Marketing & Merchandising you will  help the LG team to drive e-commerce revenue across the Home Appliance and Home Entertainment business units. This position resides in the (CMX) Customer Experience Marketing team and works closely with various LG (DTC) Direct to Consumer business & Digital Transformation teams.

  • Developing and executing e-commerce marketing strategies to drive LG.com revenue growth customer engagement, and conversion, ensuring alignment with the broader business goals
  • Create and execute e-commerce campaigns that resonate with the target audience and drive conversion
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience, from website design, user interface, and product presentation
  • Architect and manage the end-to-end customer journey on-site, continuously identifying opportunities to reduce friction, increase engagement, and optimize for conversion at every stage of the funnel.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive testing and experimentation strategy, partnering with various teams to launch A/B and multivariate tests that drive continual performance improvement
  • Evaluate LG.com content and consumer pathing in order to recommend new ways to help increase conversion
  • Leverage data to guide decision-making — synthesize insights from Google Analytics, heatmaps, user feedback, and conversion funnels to surface opportunities, inform prioritization, and build business cases for optimizations Lead and mentor a team that provides best-in-class e-commerce marketing services for the DTC teams and aligns with the Business Unit stakeholders and marketing teams to do the following:
    • Partner with demand generation on all elements of the marketing mix: leveraging Paid, Owned and Earned channels
    • Lead commercialization of new product launches, translating functional promotions into compelling and differentiated consumer propositions
    • Partner and manage campaign asset toolkits to drive consistency, in concert with channel marketing activities 
    • Support Business Unit Marketing and dXp (Digital Transformation)  team leaders on key activities including annual themed promo event planning and budget management
    • Report, analyze and optimize marketing campaigns throughout the year to drive actionable insights for future initiatives
    • On-going monitoring and reporting of lg.com metrics, identify opportunities and risks
    • Monitor competitive landscape and identifies implications, potential business impacts
    • Manage and support the consumer reviews strategy and support on LG.com

Requirements

  • Experience in e-commerce marketing communication development and digital story telling
  • Examples of success in developing and deploying integrated marketing campaigns, including executing against marketing and business strategies, aligning internal teams, monitoring performance, measuring results and campaign recapping
  • Experience in marketing campaign development, supporting new product launches, success in managing agencies, experience in collaborating with cross-functional partners in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to develop and present compelling, engaging and polished PowerPoint presentations that inform, inspire and influence
  • Ability to distill data and complex business issues into effective storytelling that clearly articulates solutions, opportunities and recommended action
  • Manage, coach and develop direct report as well as lead cross functional team to ensure executional excellence
  • Strong attention to detail. Ability to tightly manage timelines and budgets
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems for project and asset management

Recruiting Range

$171,247 - $251,163 USD
