Position Summary
We are seeking a highly strategic, organized, and results-driven Digital and Ecommerce Strategy & Operational Planning Team Leader to support the VP of DXP as a Chief of Staff. This role will act as a strategic partner and operational anchor, driving alignment, prioritization, and execution across digital and ecommerce initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with operational excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will lead strategic planning, business rhythm coordination, performance reporting, and special initiatives that enable the DXP organization to scale and succeed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Alignment
- Drive annual and quarterly strategic planning processes for Digital and Ecommerce functions.
- Translate high-level business objectives into actionable roadmaps and OKRs.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders (Business Units, Marketing, Merchandising, Technology, Supply Chain, HQ, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment and integration.
2. Operational Planning & Governance
- Develop and manage business rhythms (quarterly reviews, budget cycles, executive updates).
- Lead preparation of materials for executive presentations, board updates, and cross-functional reviews.
- Manage critical cross-team workflows to ensure timely decision-making and execution.
3. Chief of Staff Support to VP, DXP
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the VP.
- Screen, prioritize, and delegate requests; ensure follow-through on key initiatives.
- Represent the VP in select meetings, ensuring continuity and clarity of communication and decisions.
4. Performance Management & Reporting
- Monitor and report on KPIs and digital business performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Partner with analytics and finance teams to ensure consistent and accurate data reporting.
- Develop dashboards and insights to support real-time decision-making.
5. Special Projects & Change Management
- Lead high-impact projects that span digital product, ecommerce operations, and customer experience.
- Drive initiatives related to process optimization, capability building, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support transformation efforts, including change management and communication planning.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital commerce, strategy consulting, business operations, or a similar function.
- Experience working closely with senior executives and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- High proficiency in business planning, data analysis, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, or a related field.
- Experience in a digitally native or Manufacturer-to-D2C environment.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and product management.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive change in complex organizations.

Recruiting Range
$170,000 - $230,000 USD
