The role

 

The Commercial Tooling Lead serves as the business owner for all technology platforms supporting our commercial and operational teams, including Salesforce (CRM), Braze (marketing automation), Dialpad (communications), Zendesk (customer support), and Gong (sales intelligence).

You will be responsible for maximising the value, efficiency, and scalability of these tools, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives, user needs, and regulatory requirements.

You will also build and maintain in-house, bespoke tools to support some of Liberis’ key commercial and operational processes (e.g. business cases, pricing etc.). You’ll actively seek out and rapidly adopt AI and other technology to maximise results and scalability.

The role reports into the Director of Commercial Strategy and is part of the wider Commercial Strategy Team, which drives profitable growth, optimisation and scale across all facets of Liberis’ business.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day management for commercial tooling (Salesforce, Braze, Dialpad, Zendesk, Gong), collaborating with both commercial and operational stakeholders as well as product and technical teams to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver solutions that drive revenue, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Hold a deep understanding of the day-to-day work of our frontline commercial and operational teams, the opportunities and challenges, and actively partner to problem-solve and identify improvements and solutions
  • Oversee system integrations, data flows, and process automations across platforms to ensure seamless user experiences and accurate reporting.
  • Lead vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and manage budgets for all commercial tooling platforms.
  • Working with the Commercial leadership and the Commercial Operations team, you’ll drive adoption, training, and change management initiatives to ensure teams are leveraging tools effectively.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics related to tool performance, user satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Ensure all tools and processes comply with relevant financial regulations and data security standards.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies, proactively recommending improvements that support scalable growth.
  • Ideate and guide the building of in-house product prototypes in Python, Excel or other code bases, often moving fast to prototype stage together with the wider Growth team.

 

What we think you’ll need

 

  • Proven experience as a business owner or administrator for enterprise SaaS tools in a fintech, SaaS, or high-growth environment.
  • Deep expertise in at least two of the following: Salesforce CRM, Braze, Dialpad, Zendesk, Gong.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and operational processes in fast-growing (fin)tech, including sales, marketing, customer support, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, integrations, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable roadmaps, then monitor the results of solutions you’ve delivered.
  • An understanding of product development lifecycles and ability to effectively interface with adjacent product managers and technical teams

Our hybrid approach

 

Working together in person helps us move faster, collaborate better, and build a great Liberis culture. Our hybrid working policy requires team members to be in the office at least 3 days a week, but ideally 4 days. At Liberis, we embrace flexibility as a core part of our culture, while also valuing the importance of the time our teams spend together in the office.
