The role:

  • Work on customer facing & internal products: you work will have huge impact and visibility, both internally and externally!
  • Lead front-end development using React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Material UI.
  • Be empowered to have autonomy: you will have a say in our direction, ways of working and tooling, making it clear the impact you have and the value your work adds!
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and our Full Stack Engineers (.NET C#, Node.js) to deliver seamless user journeys.
  • Mentor and support the wider team: embed a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Drive technical decisions and contribute to architectural discussions that shape the future of our platform.
  • Champion best practices in performance, accessibility, and responsive design.

 

The interview process:

  • Screening call with Chess (Internal Recruiter)
  • Video interview with the Hiring Manager (45 mins)
  • In person code pairing session with a member of Engineering team (1 hour)
  • Video interview with the Hiring Manager & wider team (1 hour)

 

What We Think You’ll Need

  • A solid understanding of modern JS libraries/frameworks and core principles.
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML5 (including A11y standards), and CSS3 skills
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens/Auth0
  • Understanding of front-end build tools and pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality code
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

 

N.B - there is an ‘on-call’ element to this role, which Chess will outline at the screening stage

Working together in person helps us move faster, collaborate better, and build a great Liberis culture. Our hybrid working policy requires team members to be in the office at least 3 days a week, but ideally 4 days. At Liberis, we embrace flexibility as a core part of our culture, while also valuing the importance of the time our teams spend together in the office.
