You manage partner relationships through regular business reviews, drive growth via data-driven initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs, optimize unit economics, and deliver a strong partner and SMB experience.
More broadly, the Partnerships team focuses on driving growth by owning partner performance, managing day-to-day relationships, and working closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, and Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Ownership (Commercial & Growth)
- Own overall commercial performance (P&L), including revenue, profitability, and origination
- Manage key levers to optimize unit economics (e.g. conversion, approval rates, time-to-fund, renewal mix)
- Identify and prioritize growth initiatives and GTM opportunities
Planning & Performance Management (Account Planning & Forecasting)
- Build and maintain joint partner account plans with quarterly targets and initiatives
- Ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting in collaboration with Analytics and Finance
Partner Leadership & Governance
- Own and manage the partner relationship and governance framework
- Lead or support MBRs/QBRs and operational meetings
- Ensure KPIs, SLAs, and service levels are met, with clear escalation management
Growth Execution & GTM
- Deliver initiatives to drive adoption and performance (e.g. funnel optimization, renewal programs, pricing tests)
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing on campaigns and content
Product & Delivery Alignment
- Translate partner commercial needs into clear product requirements
- Work with Product/Tech to prioritize roadmap items and ensure launch readiness
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Own or support reporting cadence and performance tracking via dashboards
- Turn insights into actionable improvements to drive outcomes
Cross-functional Leadership & Coordination
- Align Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, and Operations to deliver against targets
- Remove blockers and ensure execution in line with KPIs and SLAs
Operational Support & Development (Junior Scope)
- Support partner management, reporting, forecasting, and execution of initiatives
- Gradually take ownership of smaller partners, expanding scope over time
What we think you’ll need:
- Relevant experience in embedded finance, payments, ISVs, or other fintech/SMB-focused sectors
- Background in partnerships, account management, or commercial roles with a proven track record of delivering measurable results
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to use data to inform decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
- Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to deliver against KPIs and SLAs
