The Role

 

This is a dual focus role combining Global Culture & Engagement, Business Partnering and ER Ownership.

Reporting to the Head of People (UK based), you will:

  • Own and drive Liberis’ global Culture & Engagement strategy, shaping how we communicate, connect, engage and enable our people across all regions
  • Act as the Senior People Partner, supporting leaders with a strong focus on performance, employee relations and organizational effectiveness
  • Based on our Atlanta office 3-4 days a week, you will act as the on the ground cultural ambassador and ensuring a high quality, connected in person employee experience, playing a key role in shaping the in-person experience and building strong connections across teams

 

You will operate both strategically and hands on, balancing global programme ownership with local execution in a key strategic market. This role is ideal for someone equally comfortable designing global initiatives and handling complex, on-the-ground people challenges.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Culture & Engagement (Global)

  • As our office lead in the USA, you will help foster a strong, inclusive and high performing in office culture
  • Own and evolve our global culture & engagement strategy, acting as a cultural steward to drive alignment and strengthen connection across regions
  • Lead global programmes across engagement surveys, internal communications, social & community initiatives and employee listening
  • Define and embed company values & behaviors to shape a high performance, inclusive culture
  • Own and enhance reward & recognition frameworks (e.g. kudos, service recognition)

 

Business Partnering & Employee Relations

  • Act as the primary People Partner for the US, as well as other global regions, aligning people priorities with business goals and supporting organizational effectiveness
  • Coach and develop managers to improve performance, accountability and team effectiveness
  • Lead and manage complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with local employment law and company policies
  • Provide commercially pragmatic guidance on sensitive people matters
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risk, ensuring fairness and consistency
  • Build manager capability to confidently handle people challenges
  • Partner on performance cycles, calibration and development planning

 

What We Think You’ll Need

 

  • Proven experience as People Partner / HRBP in a global, scaling environment, with strong experience leading global culture and engagement initiatives (we anticipate this to be between 5-10 years experience)
  • Deep expertize in US Employee Relations, with global ER experience a plus. Confidence managing complex cases
  • Ability to operate effectively at both global strategic and local operational levels
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people strategy with business outcomes
  • Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical capability - able to turn data and feedback into insight and action
  • Experience working across multiple regions
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong ownership and accountability

Our hybrid approach

 

Working together in person helps us move faster, collaborate better, and build a great Liberis culture. Our hybrid working policy requires team members to be in the office at least 3 days a week, but ideally 4 days. At Liberis, we embrace flexibility as a core part of our culture, while also valuing the importance of the time our teams spend together in the office.
