Vice President, Commercial Private Credit - South Florida

Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties

POSITION SUMMARY:

The VP of Commercial Private Credit will engage in credit origination and structuring across South Florida, specifically Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. 

This production role is responsible for independently managing their own pipeline and growing a high performing credit origination platform by leveraging direct sales channels consisting of deep relationships with business owners, C-Suite executives and strategic partners to deliver customized financing solutions to lower and middle-market companies (typically $10M–$150M in revenue).

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source, originate, and structure commercial private credit transactions.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual funding targets.
  • Build relationships with companies, financial sponsors and strategic advisors.
  • Execute Southeast Commercial Private Credit Playbook.
  • Establish Libertas as a leading private credit provider in the region.
  • Oversee full deal lifecycle.
  • Partner with underwriting and risk teams.
  • Partner with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
  • Independently manage and consistently meet your funding targets and goals.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years in commercial lending or private credit.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-source opportunities in assigned market channel.
  • Strong and proven track record of deal origination and execution.
  • Deep understanding of the financial markets and alternative financing.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required.
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong South Florida market network.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred..
  • MBA Preferred

 

Salary Range: $125K-$160K
