We are seeking a Product Owner to join our team and play a key role in driving the vision and execution of our healthcare software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader with strong stakeholder management skills to own product development and deliver exceptional value within a collaborative and supportive environment. 

The Product Owner will define product vision and strategy, prioritize the product backlog, and lead agile teams to deliver high-value features throughout the product development lifecycle. This role requires end-to-end ownership of product features from initial design through successful deployment and release.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business objectives
  • Own the complete product lifecycle from design through deployment, ensuring features are successfully delivered to production
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user needs, and strategic goals
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile ceremonies as the primary decision-maker for product features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and QA, to deliver product increments
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to inform product decisions
  • Define acceptance criteria and validate that delivered features meet requirements and quality standards
  • Oversee deployment activities and ensure smooth releases, coordinating with technical teams to resolve any issues
  • Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Make trade-off decisions to balance competing priorities and maximize product value
  • Champion user needs and advocate for solutions that enhance the customer experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • Five (5)+ years of healthcare experience within the pharmacy industry or software product analysis experience preferred
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role—ideally within the healthcare or software sector
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the Product Owner role within agile frameworks
  • Experience with agile tools like Jira or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and healthcare systems is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and translate business needs into actionable requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and inspire teams
  • Proven ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations and manage competing priorities
