The Role

This role will serve as the leader responsible for programmatic sales, building the GTM strategy and motion for how Life360 activates its unique audience and inventory through direct programmatic demand. You will shape go-to-market strategy, deepen partnerships with brands, in-house teams, agency trading desks, and account teams within the DSPs, and develop innovative programmatic solutions that drive measurable outcomes for advertisers.

The Head of Programmatic Sales (Director level) will also lead and mentor a high performing team responsible for growing this critical business line.

The US-based salary range for this position varies by location tier. For Tier 1 locations, the range is $171,000–$221,000; for Tier 2 locations $123,000–$199,000 and Tier 3 locations, $109,500 to $177,000, in each case plus a sales target bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary — therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package will also include equity and a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.

What You’ll Do

Programmatic Vision & Strategy

  • Develop scalable approaches across private marketplace, curated supply, and programmatic guaranteed
  • Identify new revenue opportunities across emerging channels including data-enabled programmatic, retail media partnerships, and advanced targeting solutions
  • Partner with executive leadership to align programmatic strategy with Life360’s broader advertising growth goals

Revenue Growth

  • Own programmatic revenue performance
  • Establish pricing frameworks, inventory packaging, and demand strategies that drive sustainable growth
  • Identify new demand sources and expand relationships with DSPs, agency trading desks, and strategic buyers
  • Leverage data insights to continuously optimize performance and monetization efficiency
  • Serve as an overlay with the direct sales team as well as own your own quota

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and scale a high performing programmatic sales team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across the Ads OG
  • Develop clear career pathways and leadership development opportunities within the programmatic organization

Partnerships & Industry Leadership

  • Serve as the executive point of contact for key programmatic agency partners
  • Represent Life360 Ads in strategic industry conversations, conferences, and partner engagements
  • Build partnerships that unlock new capabilities including identity, measurement, curation, and data activation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to influence the programmatic product roadmap and platform integrations
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop compelling programmatic solutions and go-to-market strategies
  • Work with Data Science and Analytics teams to translate insights into scalable programmatic offerings
  • Align closely with Privacy and Trust teams to ensure responsible and transparent advertising practices

Data, Measurement & Innovation

  • Establish programmatic performance frameworks and KPIs across demand channels
  • Build reporting and insights that inform strategic decisions and client solutions
  • Identify emerging trends in programmatic technology, identity, and privacy to keep Life360 Ads ahead of the market
  • Champion innovation in automation, targeting, and data activation

What You’ll Bring

  • 12+ years of experience in programmatic advertising or adtech, with significant leadership experience
  • Deep expertise across the programmatic ecosystem including DSPs, SSPs, private marketplaces, programmatic guaranteed, and data-driven advertising
  • Proven track record of scaling programmatic revenue and building high performing teams
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable business plans
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations
  • Excellent executive communication skills with credibility among senior stakeholders and industry partners
  • Strong analytical orientation with experience leveraging data to inform yield strategy and monetization models
  • Passion for innovation in digital advertising and the future of responsible data-driven marketing
