We are AI Native

We are building an AI native company where AI is an integral part of how we build and operate. AI tool usage during interviews varies by role. You may be asked to demonstrate proficiency with AI tools, discuss how you leverage AI, or complete interview exercises without AI assistance. Your Recruiter will provide clear guidance as you move through the interview process.

Undisclosed use of AI not previously discussed with or approved by your Recruiter may impact your candidacy.

About The Team

The Finance Data and Systems (FDS) team sits at the intersection of Finance & Accounting and Life360's data and systems platform. We own the systems, integrations, transformation, and reporting that our Finance & Accounting partners rely on to facilitate transactions, close the books, report externally, forecast, and perform SOX controls. We push the envelope on how that work gets done, building AI tooling and automation that accelerates both our own development and the capabilities we ship to stakeholders.

This role sits on the FDS team and serves as the connective tissue between our technical teams, the Finance Transformation team, and our Finance & Accounting partners. It is the point person who translates business needs into requirements the FDS team can execute against, drives delivery of those initiatives, and brings stakeholders along through training and enablement. This role has an emphasis on AI-enablement initiatives as we become an AI native Finance organization. This role and related initiatives are central to how the FDS team scales its impact across Finance & Accounting.

About the Job

We are hiring a Sr Staff Finance Technical Program Manager to own the delivery layer between the FDS team and our Finance & Accounting stakeholders.

You will partner with teams across strategic finance, corporate finance, finance transformation, revenue, accounting, and internal audit to deeply understand their workflows, gather requirements, and shape what we build. You will own delivery from scoping through requirements, project management, coordination with the FDS team, rollout, training, and enablement. You will own the relationship with stakeholders and ensure what we ship actually gets adopted and used.

This is a process management role without direct reports. You will coordinate across teams, integrate work streams, and serve as the liaison who keeps initiatives moving and stakeholders aligned. You will also help shape product definition by surfacing the right opportunities and converting them into requirements the FDS team can build against. You will get hands-on with the team where needed to validate proofs-of-concept or drive progress on key objectives.

This role reports to the Director of Finance Data and Systems and will support the FDS team which owns the Finance Data Warehouse, Netsuite ERP, and other ancillary systems.

For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $163,500 to $238,500 USD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

  • Build a working knowledge of the FDS team's data, tools, and AI capabilities, and become the trusted interface to it for Finance & Accounting stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance & Accounting teams across strategic finance, corporate finance, revenue, accounting, and SOX to identify high-impact opportunities for the FDS team to build against.
  • Partner with the Finance Transformation team to assist with process redesign and solution implementation, with emphasis on AI native outcomes.
  • Deeply map workflows: data sources, current process, requirements, SOX controls, and constraints. Translate business requirements into clear functional and data requirements the FDS team can execute against.
  • Own delivery from scope through close: plan, coordinate, partner with the FDS team on execution, manage risk, and ship.
  • Own stakeholder relationships and communication from kickoff through rollout, including with VP-level partners.
  • Lead enablement: run training sessions, build internal docs, hold office hours, and provide rollout support so the tools we ship actually get used.
  • Continuously hunt for automation and AI opportunities across Finance & Accounting beyond the known backlog.
  • Coach Finance & Accounting partners on effective use of LLM tooling, agents, data, and automation patterns in their own work. Lead the uplift in AI, data, and automation fluency across the Finance org.
  • Partner with Finance leadership on planning, stakeholder engagement, and program execution.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent credential with direct audit, controllership, or Finance & Accounting experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting across month-end close, quarter-end close, year-end close, FP&A, SOX, and partnering with internal and external audit.
  • 5+ years leading change and program/project management for technical initiatives, with a track record of closing long-running programs in complex reporting environments.
  • Strong hands-on SOX, ITGC, and ITAC experience, including designing and implementing controls in production environments.
  • High proficiency with cloud data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent); including writing your own SQL to validate requirements, build proofs-of-concept, and check outputs.
  • High proficiency with ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) including experience with GL, financial reporting, revenue recognition, supply chain, and 3PL fulfillment.
  • Power user of LLM tooling (Claude, Cursor, or equivalent) in your own day-to-day work, with the ability to coach non-technical partners on using it effectively.
  • Conceptual fluency with agents, MCPs, skills, and LLM-in-the-loop patterns, sufficient to adequately scope opportunities and write requirements for a technical team.
  • Ability to design data pipelines and modeling patterns that support reporting, analysis, and AI use cases.
  • Proven ability to scope ambiguous problems and drive them to decisive outcomes.
  • Track record of escalating risks early and closing long-running initiatives with clear recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication across engineering, analytics, finance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Practical ability to reduce operational fragility and remove single points of failure in finance processes.

Strongly Preferred

  • PMP or equivalent program management credential.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and testing.
  • Working proficiency with SQL and a scripting language (e.g. Python, JS, etc)
  • Experience with Airflow, cron, iPaaS, or similar traditional automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure.

You'll stand out if you

  • Have successfully designed large-scale enterprise processes, reporting, and automations across multiple systems and teams.
  • Have led cross-functional AI or automation rollouts in a SOX-controlled environment.
  • Have built and run enablement programs (training, docs, office hours) that drove real adoption, measured by usage rather than attendance.
  • Have served as the senior delivery/liaison IC between a technical team and a non-technical business function.

Our Benefits

  • Competitive pay and benefits.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for US employees). We offer supplemental plans for medical and dental for Canadian employees.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program in the US and RRSP with DPSP plan for Canadian employees.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental wellness.
  • Flexible PTO and 12 company wide days off throughout the year.
  • Learning & Development programs.
  • Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment.
  • Free Life360 Platinum Membership for your preferred circle.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
