This (Senior) Content Operations & Communications Manager is the operational and logistical backbone of Lifted’s content marketing engine. This role is responsible for running Lifted’s content production engine.
This role sits at the center of Marketing’s collaboration with Leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Product, and external stakeholders. You will transform expertise, customer stories, market insights, executive perspectives, and strategic priorities into a coordinated stream of content, communications, and enablement initiatives that strengthen Lifted’s market position.
You will coordinate stakeholders, manage timelines, remove bottlenecks, drive accountability, and ensure strategic initiatives are delivered at a consistently high standard.
You will need strong editorial instincts, an analytical mindset, and disciplined project management skills. The right person thrives in fast-paced environments, brings structure to complexity, and takes full ownership of delivery and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Content Operations & Production Management
- Own Lifted’s content production calendar and workflow.
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of blogs, reports, case studies, webinars, podcasts, newsletters, videos, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Ensure projects move efficiently through briefing, creation, review, approval, publication, and distribution.
- Track deadlines, dependencies, and production milestones across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Maintain visibility into all active marketing deliverables and proactively address risks to delivery.
Executive Thought Leadership
- Partner closely with leadership to operationalize thought leadership programs.
- Coordinate executive content initiatives including podcasts, webinars, speaking engagements, industry reports, contributed articles, newsletters, and social content.
- Extract insights from internal subject matter experts and transform them into structured content opportunities.
- Ensure leadership content remains aligned to strategic business priorities and market opportunities.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the central point of coordination across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Events, Product, and Leadership.
- Drive accountability for content inputs, approvals, interviews, customer references, and subject matter expert contributions.
- Coordinate customer interviews, case study development, executive thought leadership programs, and campaign requirements.
- Follow up consistently to ensure projects maintain momentum and deadlines are met.
Communications & Editorial Quality
- Maintain editorial consistency across all content and communications.
- Support leadership with messaging, content reviews, speaking engagements, webinars, podcasts, and strategic communications.
- Collaborate with internal and external writers, designers, video editors, and agencies to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure all content aligns with Lifted’s positioning, tone of voice, and strategic priorities.
Process & Workflow Optimization
- Continuously improve content production processes, templates, systems, and workflows.
- Leverage AI tools, automation, and agency resources to increase output and efficiency.
- Manage project tracking within Asana, or similar platforms.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions that improve team performance.
Distribution & Performance
- Ensure content is effectively distributed across web, social, email, events, webinars, ABM campaigns, and sales enablement channels.
- Track performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Support reporting on content effectiveness, engagement, influence, and commercial impact..
What It Takes to Catch Our Eye
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, marketing operations, enablement, project management, or a similar B2B marketing role, ideally within SaaS, technology, workforce solutions, or enterprise-focused organizations.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering directly with executives, leadership teams, sales, customer success, and external partners.
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities, bringing structure, accountability, and clarity to fast-moving environments.
- Strong communication and editorial instincts, with the ability to translate business objectives and subject matter expertise into impactful content, thought leadership, and enablement programs.
- Comfortable working with modern marketing technology and AI-powered workflows, including tools such as HubSpot, Notion, Jira, Asana, Google Analytics, and emerging content automation platforms.
- Highly proactive, resourceful, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a passion for building scalable processes that help teams execute at a higher level.
