
Business Analyst/Release Manager
LightFeather is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Release Manager to join our team, supporting enterprise-level operations and release management initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of business analysis, release coordination, and project management expertise to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements and applications within the ServiceNow environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage release schedules, ensuring timely delivery of features, patches, and upgrades.

Serve as a liaison between the Product Lead, development teams, and stakeholders—providing status reports, addressing task requests, and driving new initiatives.

Maintain and update personnel tracking for all team members, ensuring training, certifications, and compliance remain current.

Develop, refine, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for release management, onboarding, and quarterly reaffirmation processes.

Lead the design and implementation of automated workflows to support onboarding, offboarding, and compliance activities.

Support the Program Management Office by assisting with administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation.

Administer and manage Jira and other Atlassian suite tools, ensuring release cycles and backlogs remain well-documented and transparent.

Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and external stakeholders, delivering clear briefings and polished reporting.

Leverage ServiceNow and Microsoft Office applications to track releases, streamline reporting, and enhance project oversight.

Coordinate release-related meetings, facilitating productive discussions and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Required Qualifications and Skills

U.S. Citizenship.

Active Top Secret clearance.

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise IT environments.

Solid background in business operations, release management, and enterprise system administration.

Demonstrated expertise in onboarding, offboarding, and training processes within enterprise systems.

Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of drafting concise reports, talking points, and briefings.

Proven experience as a federal contractor, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, Jira/Atlassian tools, and ServiceNow platform usage.

Knowledgeable in compliance tracking and release governance.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organized, detailed documentation.
Preferred

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.

Experience with Agile methodologies, including a strong understanding of Scrum and project management best practices.

Experience managing and administering Atlassian suite tools, including Jira.

Experience developing automated workflows in ServiceNow for onboarding, compliance, or release processes.

Familiarity with federal regulations and guidelines for contractor personnel onboarding and training.

Prior experience supporting ServiceNow implementations or enterprise-level IT service management (ITSM) initiatives.
