Position: Front End Revenue Cycle Specialist
Job Summary: The Revenue Cycle Specialist supports revenue cycle processes within our organization by working the assigned claims, recognizing patterns, escalating issues, and accelerating claim payment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Review and resolve insurance denials to obtain final adjudication.
- Analyze accounts receivable reports to follow up on unpaid claims.
- Submit required documentation to insurance payers as requested.
- Follow up with insurance payors on incorrectly paid claims.
- Correct demographic and payor information and submit it to payors.
- Work with Front Desk Teams to support Patient Collections.
- Collect Patient Payments.
- Process Hardship, Scholarship, and Payment Plans.
- Manage reports on recognized payor patterns/projects.
- Escalate emergent and systemic issues to supervisor.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience/Certifications:
- Associates Degree in Health Care Management or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of relevant experience with claims processing and Electronic Medical Records
- Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and insurance
- Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
