
Supervisor, Implementation - Payments
Company Overview:
As a Supervisor, Implementation – Payments, you'll play a critical role in leading the successful rollout of our payment facilitation services to dealership management system (DMS) dealers. Reporting to the Manager, Implementation, you'll manage and develop a team of Implementation Specialists, Project Managers, and Hardware Specialists, guiding them through every stage of the customer onboarding journey, from initial consultation and planning through testing, configuration, training, and go-live.
What You'll Do
- Build and mentor a high-performing implementation team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous growth.
- Own all people management responsibilities, including performance evaluations, coaching, career development planning, and day-to-day team leadership.
- Partner with the Implementation Manager to track team performance, client delivery metrics, and operational goals.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex dealer issues, driving timely, professional resolutions in collaboration with your manager.
- Proactively identify process gaps and champion solutions that improve dealer outcomes and implementation success rates.
- Take ownership of client retention and dealer satisfaction across your team's portfolio.
What You'll Have
- 4+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong preference for customer-facing or client implementation roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting mission-critical solutions in retail or dealership environments.
- 2+ years of experience leading or training teams, with a demonstrated ability to coach others and act on feedback.
- A track record of retaining clients and navigating difficult situations with composure and professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization, even under pressure.
- Familiarity with Lightspeed or comparable DMS platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
