Implementation Specialist - Payments
Company Overview:
Are you a problem-solver who loves the "Aha!" moment when a complex system finally clicks for a customer? We are looking for a Payments Implementation Specialist to be the face of our newest payments solution. You’ll be the technical guide who takes our dealers from “just signed” to “fully operational,” ensuring their business doesn’t miss a beat.
As an Implementation Specialist, you are a consultant, a coach, and a technical project lead all in one. You will own the onboarding journey for our dealers, translating their business needs into a perfectly configured payments ecosystem. You aren’t just configuring software; you’re setting the foundation for their future growth.
What You'll Do:
- Own the Journey: Manage the end-to-end implementation process from initial discovery and workflow planning to hardware configuration and the final "Go-Live."
- Be the Expert: Lead virtual training sessions that empower dealers and their staff to use our payment solutions with confidence.
- Problem-Solve in Real-Time: Tackle technical hurdles, configuration challenges, and network complexities with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Consult & Optimize: Analyze a dealer’s current setup and recommend best practices to ensure they are getting the most ROI from our platform.
- Collaborate for Quality: Work closely with Project Managers and Hardware Specialists to ensure every deadline is met and every device is synced.
- Voice of the Customer: Provide feedback to our Product and Engineering teams to help us continuously improve the user experience.
What You'll Have:
Qualifications
- Technical Aptitude: 2+ years of experience in technical implementation, software support, or a similar “high-touch” client-facing role.
- Retail/Fintech Fluency: Experience with POS systems, payment processing, or retail operations is a major plus.
- Hardware Experience: Proficiency in supporting and configuring Ingenico, Verifone and similar POS hardware equipment in a retail environment.
- Communication Clarity: You can explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience without breaking a sweat.
- Precision & Detail: You’re the type of person who double-checks the settings because you know the small things matter for a business owner.
- Resilience: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can pivot quickly when a customer’s needs change.
- Education: High school or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Associate or Bachelor’s college degree
