Join our Hospitality Team as a Sales Engineer Intern and kickstart your career in the exciting intersection of sales and technology! In this role, youâll play a crucial part in enhancing Lightspeedâs sales productivity and streamlining deal flow by providing technical insights for complex solutions.
Youâll collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing and Product Management teams, gaining hands-on experience while engaging with key technical decision-makers. Your contributions will help ensure that our proposals meet customer needs effectively. What youâll be doing:
- Be a functional and technical point of contact within Lightspeedâs Sales team
- Proactively scope the functionality and technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customersâ met and unmet needs, and recommend optimum solutions and support
- You will âwow!â prospects and customers by acting as the lead technical expert during product demonstrations, in person or through webinars
- Creating sales-focused resources to highlight the value propositions of our offerings;
- Provide technical coaching to Lightspeedâs Sales team
- Represent Lightspeed at conferences, shows, and exhibitions
- Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management
What you need to bring:
- Be sales-minded and comfortable presenting to different audiences
- A natural flair for technology and innovation
- Passionate about the vibrant world of hospitality
- You speak fluent Flemish and a good level of English
- Other European languages are a plus but not essential
