Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Benefits, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our benefits programs, with a specific focus on leave management, accommodations, time-off programs, and leaves compliance globally. You will be responsible for administering short- and long-term disability, parental leaves, and time-off management. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, you will evaluate and improve our global leave programs to ensure they align with Lightspeed's Total Rewards strategy, helping to create an environment where Lightspeeders can thrive
What you’ll be doing:

- Manage accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies, and working with employees and management to arrange appropriate workplace accommodations.
- Evaluate and improve existing leave and benefits programs by identifying opportunities for optimization, streamlining processes, and enhancing the employee experience.
- Develop and track key metrics to assess program effectiveness, measure utilization, and identify trends in absence patterns.
- Collaborate with global brokers and vendors to stay ahead of market trends, ensuring our leave and benefits offerings align with the company's broader global strategy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HRIS, payroll, and business partners, to ensure accurate data flow, optimize system integration, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Manage time-off programs, including vacation, sick leave, and paid time off (PTO), ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
- Lead and support wellness programs, including employee education and resources that promote overall health and well-being across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and HR teams on escalated leave and time-off issues, resolving complex situations.
- Stay up to date with regulations, employment laws, and other requirements to ensure compliance.
What you need to bring:
