Lightspeed (formerly known as Chronogolf) has been disrupting the golf market since 2012, bringing a cloud-based solution to an industry relying on on-site hardware.
What you’ll be responsible for:
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of marketing strategy, client consultation, and account management. As a DAS, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of golf courses, helping them plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns that drive real business results. You’ll blend creativity with data, campaign execution with strategic thinking, and relationship-building with a sharp understanding of digital tools.
If you are passionate about marketing, solving problems, educating on product use, building lasting relationships, and helping customers succeed, this role is designed for you.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Proactively plan, submit, and manage seasonal and recurring marketing campaigns for your portfolio of golf courses.
- Align campaign strategies with the golf course’s business goals, seasonal trends, and past performance.
- Ensure smooth handoff to our marketing production team with clear briefs and timely approvals to avoid launch delays.
- Troubleshoot campaign challenges, escalate complex issues, and propose optimization strategies when needed.
Customer Retention & Marketing Strategy
- Lead regular planning calls and check-ins to review performance, collect feedback, and propose the next campaigns.
- Ensure customers understand the impact of their campaigns using reporting dashboards and analytics tools.
- Reduce customer dependency by educating them on best practices, workflows, and key tools across the Lightspeed Golf ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to support at-risk customers and prevent churn with proactive retention strategies.
Campaign Performance & Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate campaign success against performance benchmarks such as CTR, engagement, and conversions.
- Summarize campaign insights and next steps in post-call reports and follow-up emails.
- Maintain accurate documentation in ClickUp, ensuring campaign timelines, customer sentiment, and key touchpoints are captured.
Cross-functional Communication
- Partner with internal teams (Product, Support, Digital Services) to resolve escalations and improve service delivery.
- Surface market insights, campaign trends, and product feedback to the broader team to drive improvements.
What you’ll be bringing to the team:
- Experience in a customer-facing or client success role
- Strong interest in marketing, advertising, or the golf industry
- Ability to lead structured client conversations around strategy, campaign goals, and performance
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights - Comfortable using marketing platforms, dashboards, or analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Organized and able to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and follow-ups independently

Even better if you have, but not necessary:
- Previous experience in a marketing or customer engagement role within the software or tech industry.
- Knowledge of or experience in the golf industry, understanding its unique business needs and customer base.
- Understanding of the sales cycle and customer journey in a SaaS environment, with a focus on marketing strategies and customer retention.
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, ClickUp, Meta Ads, or Google Ads
Who you are:
- You excel at multitasking, managing multiple customer accounts and communication channels while maintaining a high degree of organization.
- You are results-driven and metrics-oriented, employing a resourceful approach to overcome challenges and achieve business objectives.
- You are autonomous and capable of independent work, yet understand the importance of collaboration and excel within team settings.
