Sales Development Representative - Network

Montreal, Quebec, Canada

This role requires candidates to work **on-site at our Montreal office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Remote work is allowed on Mondays and Fridays.

Purpose of the role

Drive revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for Lightspeed NuORDER, our Wholesale Network. This person will be the first point of contact that our potential customers will have throughout their experience with our global marketplace.

Role

  • Drive new business growth, within our Lightspeed NuORDER Network segment
  • Connect with top executives from brands that sell to our valued Lightspeed POS merchants
  • Identify customer needs to determine if our NuORDER Connect offering could be a good fit
  • Prospect, engage, nurture, and qualify new leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn messaging
  • Collaborate with our Sr. Manager of Brand Acquisition on signing these brands
  • Assist management with iterating on outreach best practices, messaging, and developing new strategies to grow our network pipeline

And a little bit of.... 

  • Working cross functionally with marketing on campaigns & events
  • Working cross functionally with the NuORDER team on cross-selling/ upselling opportunities
  • Over time, mentoring new SDRs as we expand the team

KPIs

How you will know you are kicking ass:

  • Averaging 100 activities per day across calls, emails, LinkedIn
  • Holding 35 introductory calls within our ICP(Ideal Customer Profile) per month
  • Converting those into 21 Connect Opportunities per month
  • Generating an excess of 50 signed brands per quarter

Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience, in a retail role where you interacted with senior leadership
  • Experience working in a target-based environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication
  • Experience in fashion required
