As Head of Account Management, you manage a team of Account Managers who are responsible for growing Lightspeed’s German and Swiss customer base, understanding different customer needs, effectively communicating our value proposition, and building out a fully scoped solution for them to be successful.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Hire and develop a team of target-hitting, high performing Account Managers
  • Manage the overall pipeline of new and existing customers joining the platform.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to ensure the Sales and Handover process from deal to partnership is as smooth and effective as possible.
  • Build dashboards, track performance, and use data to proactively identify risks and opportunities across accounts
  • Establish yourself as a trustworthy partner to the most important customers within your market
  • Own forecasting of renewals, expansions, and churn risk, providing insights to leadership on performance and pipeline health and process optimization
  • Ensure the team exceeds its monthly MRR and KPI targets.
  • Develop each team member to increase platform and product adoption across the platform 
  • Ensure clear communications between all departments impacting your team 
  • Continue to grow the customer base through up- and cross selling opportunities by looking at market opportunities and developing the team to effectively provide solutions 
  • Act as the customer advocate internally by gathering feedback and partnering with customers and internal stakeholders

And a little bit of....

  • Analyzing sales forecasts, call volume and pipelines for overall team and individuals.
  • Developing and hiring team members for current and future opportunities.
  • Listening to calls and demonstrations to provide feedback to the team.
  • Creating new strategies to help grow revenue streams for the Account Management team
  • Managing high level deals with large organizations as well as well-known brands.

 

What you will bring to the team: 

  • Experience in a relevant Account Management team leadership role with a bias towards coaching and development to get the best out of people
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a group towards common goals and enable them to deliver results
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Data driven approach to problem solving
  • Relevant work experience in an industry like retail or hospitality, IT solutions, software sales, e-commerce, cloud applications, SaaS, POS, or technology is a strong plus

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Prior experience in hiring and scaling commercial teams
  • Prior experience as an Account Manager with a track record of success
  • Prior experience working in/with restaurants is a plus!
