Lightspeed is looking for a Project Management, Sr. Manager II to support critical marketing initiatives. If you are a seasoned project manager with a passion for driving impactful growth marketing projects, experience with cross-functional marketing teams, and a knack for data-driven execution, we want to hear from you.

As the Global Senior Project Manager, you will lead and mentor a growing team of project managers while also managing your own portfolio of high-impact marketing initiatives. You will oversee global project operations, including Product Marketing launches, brand programs, and creative execution across UX and motion design. In parallel, you’ll directly manage key strategic projects, including the "pre-marketing launch" workstream, Growth team initiatives, and GTM-aligned marketing campaigns.

You will serve as both a team leader and a project leader—ensuring the successful execution of cross-functional marketing work while fostering team development, process consistency, and scalable operations across regions.

What you’ll be doing:

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and manage a team project managers and coordinators supporting regional and global product marketing and creative operations.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to support team members’ development and growth.
  • Serve as the first escalation point for project blockers, prioritization conflicts, and cross-functional alignment challenges within the global and creative pods.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture rooted in clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Marketing Operations to identify future resourcing needs and scale the team structure accordingly.

 

Strategic Project Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of pre-marketing launch workstreams for global product launches—ensuring alignment between marketing, product, sales, and customer teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of Growth team projects and other marketing-led initiatives with GTM implications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans—including timelines, deliverables, risk logs, and resource allocations—for each initiative.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of assets, collateral, and campaign materials that drive business outcomes.

 

Process & Execution Excellence

  • Facilitate project kickoffs, cross-functional meetings, and retrospectives to drive shared alignment and accountability.
  • Ensure consistent use of project management tools (JIRA, Monday.com) across the team for documentation, task tracking, and progress monitoring.
  • Identify and resolve risks or roadblocks proactively, escalating as needed and driving toward solutions.
  • Uphold compliance with brand, legal, and regulatory guidelines throughout execution phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen handoffs, and increase clarity across functions.

 

What you need to bring:

  • 7+ years experience in Project Management in the Marketing field
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience managing teams and conversations with internal clients around scope, schedule, and budget as well as roadmaps, objectives, and strategies.
  • Ability to work with teams across multiple departments and around the globe.
  • Proven experience using an integrated approach to project planning and management. 
  • Thorough understanding of creative processes & production of marketing assets.
  • Proactive approach in your work: you take initiative, can prioritize tasks, proactively flag issues, and collaborate to find solutions.
  • Flexible in responding to changes in business priorities; proven ability to work effectively under multiple, competing deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills in English. French is an asset.
  • Proven ability to interface with all levels of management with confidence.
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines.
  • Thrive working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Monday.com).
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferable.
