The Opportunity
Are you passionate about building strong client relationships and driving business growth? We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team, focusing on surveyor and valuer accounts. This role is key to supporting our Relationship Manager in developing existing accounts, acquiring new business, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth across existing and new surveyor/valuer accounts to meet allocated targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring all KPIs are met.
- Report on pipeline activity and sales performance using Salesforce data.
- Identify and develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing client base.
- Support the Relationship Manager and take ownership of sales opportunities when required.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations of Vantage Case Manager and Vantage Surveyor, showcasing our competitive edge.
- Lead customer projects from initiation to revenue generation, acting as the key point of contact.
- Build deep industry knowledge and a strong understanding of customer needs.
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful sales collateral.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams including technical staff, trainers, and product specialists.
- Represent Landmark and LVS with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
About You
You will be a driven and commercially minded individual with the following skills and experience:
- Industry experience or knowledge of the mortgage valuation/surveying sector
- Proven field sales or business development experience
- Track record of growing customer accounts and delivering revenue growth
- Strong selling and objection-handling skills with a confident, consultative approach
- CRM experience, ideally with Salesforce
- Customer-facing experience, including face-to-face engagement
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for regular travel
