As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Manager to lead our team and create unforgettable guest experiences.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager Directs and coordinates activities of the organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the outlined duties personally or through subordinate FOH or BOH supervisors.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Plans, develops, and implements organization policies and goals.
  • Directs hiring and training protocols, leading by example and exhibiting a commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinates activities of all departments such as operating, manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance or research and development to effect operational efficiency and economy.
  • Directs and coordinates promotion of products and services to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position in industry.
  • Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget.
  • Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
  • Directs preparation of directives to all departments outlining policy, program or operations changes to be implemented.
  • Manage Food, Beverage & Labor costs in conjunction with FOH & BOH management teams. Direct teams on cost saving tactics.
  • Review monthly P&L statements and strategize response to the findings.
  • Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.
  • Maintains current knowledge of current industry trends and provides guidance on marketing campaigns and collateral.
  • Maintains compliance to all state and federal regulations related to the industry.
  • Oversee annual employee reviews of both FOH & BOH employees and managers.
  • Manage security of all company assets.
  • Train and develop team members to grow into future leadership roles.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of FOH management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Create annual budgets and maintain adherence to food, beverage and labor cost controls. Monitor proper protocols are followed related to inventory management.
  • Maintain current certifications in Serv Safe Food Manager, Allergen and Chokesaver.
  • Able to plan, direct and participate in operation of kitchen and food production outlets.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining business standards.
  • Focus on teamwork and collaboration with others.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external Guests while leveraging the knowledge of the position and the business.
  • Stay engaged and motivated with the business, department, and all Team Members at all levels while encouraging growth and development of self and others.
  • Build lasting relationships by demonstrating honesty, integrity, and effective communication.
  • Driven to exceed expectations while remaining accountable and fair.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
