Finance Lead

LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. We're looking for a Finance Lead to lead financial planning, corporate finance and strategic finance workstreams across the company. The Finance Lead is a critical role building data centers takes large amounts of capital and involves complicated revenue agreements and financing transactions.

You will work with the CFO to set the financial strategy, manage capital, and build an exceptional finance team and systems that can support several sites under construction at once. You will be a principal finance contact for the management team, employees, lenders and investors.

What you will do

  • Own the company's financial plan, cash-flow and GAAP forecasting, weekly budget, and long-range forecast
  • Support procure-to-pay finance operations
  • Lead debt and equity financing for new sites, from lender selection and modeling through closing.
  • Work with accounting on close, financial reporting, tax and auditing
  • Report financial results, risks and recommendations to leadership
  • Hire, develop and manage the finance team

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years in investment banking, private equity or senior start-up finance roles
  • Bonus if you have experience in data centers, energy, compute, real estate or construction
  • Track record of drafting and executing complicated financial plans
  • Bachelor's degree from a qualified institution

Additional Requirements

  • Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
  • This position is based in Menlo Park, CA, and requires being onsite full-time - hybrid and remote work will not be considered

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:
$180,000.00 - $300,000.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at LFG. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year.
