Recruiting Lead

Menlo Park

LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. As our first recruiter, you’ll build hiring here from the ground up, reporting directly to the Head of People and Talent. You’ll own every search across the company, from finance analysts to engineers and skilled trades. The people we need most are the hardest to find, especially those with data center experience, and most of them aren’t looking. Your job is to find them, earn their attention, and show them why LFG is worth the move.

What you will do

  • Run recruiting from first contact through accepted offer for roles in Finance, Engineering, Operations, Legal and HR.
  • Work with hiring managers to define each role, the interview plan and how candidates will be assessed.
  • Source candidates directly, particularly for engineering and skilled trades roles.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system, job postings and recruiting agencies.
  • Prepare and deliver offers with HR and hiring managers.
  • Build relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs and veteran hiring programs near each site.
  • Report on the hiring pipeline and time to fill.
  • Make sure hiring practices meet California and Washington requirements.

Qualifications

  • 6 or more years in recruiting, including technical or skilled trades hiring.
  • Experience hiring for a company that is growing quickly.
  • Strong direct sourcing skills.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to manage many open roles at once and keep hiring managers informed.
  • Recruiting experience in data centers, construction or energy. (Preferred)
  • Experience hiring in rural or small labor markets. (Preferred)

Additional Requirements

  • Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
  • Must be willing to travel to other LFG locations

$140,000.00 - $180,000.00

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at LFG. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks. You may also accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year. Employees accrue paid sick leave pursuant to Company policy which satisfies or exceeds the accrual, carryover, and use requirements of the law.
