Market Research Associate

The role of the Northern Virginia Market Research Associate is to provide commercial real estate (CRE) support to the brokers on the Northern, VA leasing team. The leasing team interacts with the market researcher daily to discuss and strategize on various commercial real estate related requests, reports, and presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects commercial real estate related information from creditable sources
  • Updates and maintains several in-house databases of CRE related information
  • Writes / publishes various reports on market conditions
  • Updates listings on CoStar
  • Attends real estate related meetings and events

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s level degree in Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related research and analysis experience
  • Experience using CoStar preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, InDesign and internet-based research

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
