Lease Administration Supervisor

Responsible for leading, directing and motivating the team responsible for the delivery of Lease Administration services defined for the assigned client account. Responsible for the integrity of the client’s property database, accurate and timely reporting in accordance with contractual commitments, and to meet high levels of client satisfaction to ensure a high standard of service excellence is maintained. Position will also include the supervision of other lease administrative staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide input into the ongoing operation of the Lease Administration function including development of policies and procedures.
- Serve as the main point of contact for lease administration services to the client(s).
- Keep Senior Leadership informed of important issues.
- Assume primary responsibility for client satisfaction of lease administration services.
- Strong Managerial Skills; Must be able to collaborate and problem solve with multiple Property Managers in various markets throughout the Western United States. Requires occasional travel to managed markets.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Documenting and sharing best practices, participating in efforts to strengthen internal controls and improve data quality.
- Proactively seek ways to extend the value of the lease database to others.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Lease negotiations on behalf of the client
- Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships within the company and with the client ensure accurate and timely reporting is maintained at all times
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provides formal supervision to individual employees within operational area.
- Recommends staff selection, advancement, corrective action and terminations.
- Monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
- Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
- Monitors and coaches staff to further develop competencies.
- Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with company values.
Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Lease Administration, Property Management, or Real Estate Accounting field required.
- Experience managing a staff required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous response to tenants, client, vendors, and all levels of staff.
- Ability to effectively present information to small or large groups.
- Trusted to confidentially handle sensitive information.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Experience in either MRI or YARDI accounting software preferred.
- Lease database management software experience required.
- Advanced Analytical and quantitative skills required.
- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and calculations including percentages, discounts, and commissions required.
- Advanced understanding of complex commercial lease language required.
- Must be highly organized and able to work independently.
- Strong knowledge of real estate industry (Healthcare Real Estate preferred), legal documentation, and management reporting functions required.

Screening Requirements:
Selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
